This website
- This site has no analytics, ads or tracking cookies.

Applications
When you apply, you share the answers to these questions:
- Name
- City and state
- Nearest chapter
- Age group
- Parent or guardian's email
- Skills
- Links to your work
- Tech tree nodes or areas you are interested in
- Time you can give
- Why do you want to join OASA?
- I'm interested in paid contract work through OASA Engineering
- Invited by a member? Their name
During the founding phase, the founder reads every application. We use what you send only to review your application and get in touch. We don't sell it or share it outside the people reviewing it.
- Where it's stored: in a private database on Cloudflare, our hosting provider. Only the people reviewing applications can open it.
- Alerts: when an application arrives, a short note goes to a private OASA Discord channel for reviewers. It includes your application number, name, city and a short preview of your skills, never your email address. For applicants aged 15 to 17, it includes only the application number.
- Spam check: the form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It does not use cookies for tracking.
- Parents and guardians: if you're 15 to 17, we use your parent or guardian's email only to ask for their consent and keep them informed.
Youth members
Members aged 15 to 17 need a parent or guardian's consent. Youth profiles show a handle only, with no photo or location.
Member profiles
Members choose whether their profile is public or private.
Contract work
Paid contract work runs through OASA Engineering, a separate company. Verified ID is handled separately by OASA Engineering, and only for contract staff.
Tools we may use
We use Cloudflare (hosting, the application database and the spam check), Discord and GitHub. Each has its own privacy policy.
How long we keep things
Retention periods will be set with our attorney. Until then, you can ask us to delete your application at any time by emailing the address below.
